  • It is the house which became the end of yasunari Kawabata, the highest peak of modern Japanese literature. Because it is still owned by the individual, it is not on the tourist map, but i noticed the time of the visit of the nearby Soranajinnamiya, so I went to the front of the gate and looked into the letter "Kawabata" of the tag. Kawabata was born in Osaka, but he started living in Kamakura at the age of 36, and he moved around the city in the wind called Jomeiji Temple, Nikaido, Ande. Was he the type of person who wanted to change the dwellings that are said to be common among artists and writers? There is a building called Kawabata Yasunari Memorial Association next door, and it seems that there is a planning and event related to the riverside, but both doors were closed.

  • Because there is not so much a surname named Kawabata, it was Yasunari Kawabata's mansion when thinking. The sweet rope Shinto shrine is the oldest shrine in Kamakura, but I found it by chance after I visited your precinct. It is a sober and settled residence.
