  • There is Bentendo in the lower part of the Haseji precincts, and the back of the red torii ahead is the bentencave. Carved in a cave by Kobo Daishi by Teraden, which was once enshrined in Bentendo (or luck keisaku? The statue of Bensai ten is kept in the Kannon Museum, and Bentendo is enshrined instead of Fukutoku Bensaiten. On the wall of the Benten cave, which is said to be the place where Kobo Daishi was trained, there are now countless heavens, such as miniatures dedicated by worshippers to the image of the 16-child and the sixteen-child statue carved for future generations. The cave is dim in the whole, and the ceiling is low, and there is a part where it is not possible to walk if it does not basket, and it is careful not to hit the head against the rock!
