  • This ski resort, which opened on the showa ski boom, also has a problem with many ski resorts. There is a Iitsuna plateau ski resort that Nagano City manages in the southeast side in Iitsunayama where this ski resort is located, and the resort ski resort faces the north a little, and there are a lot of snow here. Although it is located a little on the north side, the ski slopes are mainly for beginners, and there are not many users because there are famous ski slopes in the vicinity. In the predicament that the administrator changes frequently, the municipality where it is located has given up management, too. The decline in the ski population is also having a negative impact on higher quality ski slopes, so the road to life here is quite steep.

  • “I enjoyed ski @ Iizuna ski resort last week. Nice powder snow and no waiting for the lift because it was weekday. One day pass for lift was only 2500yen and ski rental was only 2000 yen. Easy access ...  more »

  • Small park and difficult to learn on as a snowboarder, as there is a long flat portion near the end of the main run. Only upside was the reasonable price.
  • I came up here today to practice skiing after not having skied for probably 10 Years. Not many people, all locals, I nearly had the place to myself. Prices are so cheap, great snow. The food is kind of expensive but good, the pizza was actually fantastic. The downside is that I planned on taking a cab from Mure station but it was 4200 yen one way. I give a 5 star rating because the staff are so friendly and nice and when a cab wasn’t available to take me back to the station one of them took me there on his way home from work. I don’t live in Nagano but if I did I would go here often.
