  • The name has been changed from Akan to Akan Mashu National Park. The area around Lake Mashu is also included and is approximately 90,000 hectares. More than 90% of the parks in the park are untouched nature conservation areas. You can enjoy the majestic nature.

  • Recently, the character of "Mashu" was added to the name, and it became "Akan Mashu National Park". It is a national park full of attractions such as Lake Akan, Lake Kussharo, Lake Mashu, three large lakes, Lake Akan Onsen and Kawayu Onsen, and the primeval forest as far as the eye can see. Although I live in a local area and stay at a hot Spring Inn every year and walk in the national park, it is a place where there is a difference of each season, and there is a place where it is not possible to tread easily, and the interest is exhausted.
