We walked around the park before heading into the castle l. We visited in November so we’re treated to full peak autumn colours surrounding the castle. Only about a 10 minute walk from the JR station.... more »

2019 11 24 今日は、城見台公園に来ました。何度も来ている大好きな城見台公園です。遠くに姫路城が見えます。そのような城見台公園で､今日はYOSAKOIをやっております🎵YOSAKOIってパワフルですね❗僕は、大好きですね🎵 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ 平成5年12月に世界遺産として登録されたことを記念して、姫路城ビューポイントを公募。「世界遺産姫路城十景」が定められましたが、そのなかでも記念撮影に絶好のポイントが城見台公園。姫路城へのメインルートからはずれ、観光的には見逃しやすい場所ですが、2m鯱瓦（しゃちかわら）が置かれています。城見台公園は、姫路城跡（中曲輪・内曲輪）をすっぽりとカバーする姫路公園（「日本の歴史公園100選」）の一部で特別史跡のエリア内となっています。すぐ北側には芝生の広がる東御屋敷跡公園がありますが、この一帯は、かつての中曲輪（なかくるわ）で武家屋敷が並んでいた場所です。城見台公園にモニュメントとして置かれた巨大な鯱瓦は、大天守の鯱瓦を原寸大に復元したものです。良質の粘土を産する姫路市船津町（旧神崎郡船津村）にあるいぶし瓦窯元・光洋製瓦が制作しました。ここから眺める天守群は、どっしりとした重厚さのある景観となります。船津村には1805（文化2）年に姫路藩御用瓦師・小林又右衛門が移住、以来、昔ながらの質の高い「いぶし瓦」（神崎瓦）が製造されております。

I'm doing YOSAKOI today in such a castle-midai park🎵 YOSAKOI is powerful❗ I love it🎵 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ In commemoration of the registration as a World Heritage Site in December 1993, Himeji Castle Viewpoint was open to the public. "Ten Views of Himeji Castle World Heritage" has been established, but the best point for commemorative photography is Jomitai Park. It is a place that is easy to miss for sightseeing, but there are 2m tiles (Shachikawara) that are off from the main route to Himeji Castle.
