  It was fun but the only thing that wasn't great was that you couldn't glaze your ceramic piece yourself and they'd mail it to a Japanese address within 2 months. Obviously most tourists won't be...  more »

  Nice place. You can watch glass blowing up close, which was nice for the kids. Not sure if you need to do it yourself cause the staff understandably do most of it.

  Our kids, ages 10 & 12, had a great time creating their own glasses! Given the nature of molten glass, it was a controlled and safe experience with their teacher helping with a lot. The glasses need a couple of days to cool, so we had them ship them to our hotel in Tokyo no problem. We will treasure them for a long time.
