  • It is located in the East gardens of the Imperial Palace once stood in the Edo Castle ninomaru garden. Ninomaru is destroyed in the 0/1867 (1867). Where flowering Iris in iris garden and wooded gardens, or may prefer autumn best time to visit.

  • I went after touring the public fall Imperial dry streets, East gardens of the Imperial Palace in the autumn. Especially the foliage of the ninomaru Garden was beautiful. In autumn colors reflected on the pond, nice views near the foliage on the shores of the pond is away is good. Good location for enjoying the autumn leaves from various angles.

  • Garden overlooking the plant while wandering around in the trees for each country it has gathered here. Different size even in a vast place our Hall in the castle garden. I'd seen more beautiful garden time sprout out of the spring and autumn.

  • This is a beautiful Japanese garden. Admission is free. It is a great place to pack a picnic and enjoy the day. There are traditional historic building and walls with educational displays around the garden.
  • Beautiful gardens. Well preserved building and guard houses. Good place to walk and relax. The stone walls are magnificent. It's really big, can spend the whole day there, enjoyed the scenery and history of the place. One of the must visit in Tokyo.
  • This is a nice place to admire history and get away from the urban landscape in the middle of Tokyo. When you're in the middle of the gardens it feels like you're not even in the city. Overall very relaxing experience.
  • Perhaps the most picturesque section of the garden east, with a koi pond, a wooden shelter and a waterfall. Relaxing to just soak in the atmosphere and just take a few pictures. Loved how they arrange and maintain the place.
  • A beautiful place to walk around. The immaculately manicured gardens, the towering walls, the well preserved guard house, it truly is a place to behold. Just make sure you are wearing a good walking shoes.

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
