  • You can see it immediately from the exit on the west side of Takebashi Station, right next to the Imperial Palace. There are regular exhibitions, so we recommend that you go there at that time.

  • International Museum Day (May 18 every year) is free of charge for permanent exhibitions at the National Museum of Modern Art. The Permanent Exhibition at the National Museum of Modern Art is not displayed at once, but is regularly replaced. This time, I have mainly admired works by modern Japanese artists such as Wada Sanzo's Nankaze, Harada Naojiro "Kiryu Kannon", Kishida Liu "Road, Bank, and Wall(Sakinosa) "Seitono Spicture". It was good to see up close works on Japanese history and art textbooks. The hotel was free and the hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

  • A very nice museum just in front of the imperial palace, inside there are also rooms with chairs and views on the palace garden. Entrance is free every first Sunday of the month. You can easily spend 1-2 hours there.
  • The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo (MoMAT) is Japan’s first national art museum. It is located in central Tokyo, near the Imperial Palace. There are permanent collections as well as thematic and special exhibitions. Beautiful architecture.
