Royce' Chocolate World Reviews
more »I think that it is not a special thing to be special again that there are a lot of kinds of chocolate. What is interesting is that the manufacturing process such as various characters sold can be viewed through the window as a factory. Children look at the mechanical movement with their eyes shining, and parents also look at it seriously together. I think that it is good to visit because it is interesting just to look at the factory.
空港ターミナル内に、2店舗あり、ロイズチョコの歴史も知ることができます。 色んな種類のチョコレートがあり、どれを買うか迷います。 季節により、特別な包装袋に入れてくれるのもお楽しみの一つ。 more »There are two stores in the airport terminal, and you can learn about the history of Lloyd's Chocolate. There are many kinds of chocolates, and I don't know which one to buy. Depending on the season, it is one of the pleasures to put it in a special packaging bag.
21 Jun 2019. This is Royce Chocolate factory at Shin Chitose Airport level 3F. You can watch live the making of chocolates from the glass panels. Very hygienic place with all staff wearing gowns and mask. You can see clearly some of the process involved. There are moulds of bears etc that can used to shape the chocolates. Beside this factory, there are a few shops selling Royce chocolates. There is also a museum just across the corridor. You can also find shops selling this chocolate in the airport and everywhere else in Japan. However the authorised airport shop has the most varieties.
New Chitose Airport is a most amazing airport. It is not only somewhere you go through, but also a destination in itself. This Royce Chocolate World is one of the many things that make this wonderful experience. It is a tiny museum where you can see a brief history of chocolate, including a very nice collection of chocolate packaging and another of printed advertising. There is also a modern demo factory in production behind a huge window. Royce is a great chocolate and this little exhibition area really makes our Hokkaido trip more memorable
