  • A tourist attraction in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture. At first, I went there with the intention of stopping by lightly as if I were going to buy wasabi as a souvenir, and the large grounds were on parade with wonderful scenery. Before heading to the superb view, I think that it is good to learn about wasabi at the museum which becomes the 100th anniversary museum of Daio Wasabi Farm near the entrance before visiting inside. Actually, I wasn't that interested in wasabi, but it's very interesting to know. I was wondering what order to turn, but first I went to the water mill in Asahikawa and Mansui River. It seems to be a water wheel that comes out in "Dream" of the famous movie director Akira Kurosawa screenplay. The combination of the beautiful Asahikawa and the mill that flows along the side is really wonderful. It is a scenery chosen by Kurosawa as expected. The Asahiriver and Mansui River meet in this area, but in front of them, they flow in parallel.

  • I've said it many times, so there's nothing new, but I think i prefer a soft green spring if I go anyway. It is better to be more vivid in the eye than the black wasabi field covered with awning net cloth.
