  • Extremely touristy but perfect to get those gifts to take home. Really enjoyed having a wander up and down the street  more »
  • As you past the gateway leading up to the Asakusa shrine you will encounter stalls on both sides of the passageway. This is really a wonderful experience to see stalls offering Japanese food treats.....  more »

  • You'll definitely going to find there something for you and for taking with you. Souvenirs of all kinds, cakes, toys, bracelets, please look and search all over the place there its quite okay for "mapping" the place there, so you can see different prices for the same item or a more beautiful one. I bought a few bracelets there a asked to repair the one I bought elsewhere 5 years ago. They did it for free an very very fast, also had adjusted one bracelet that was too big. Nice, very nice and respectful people.
  • A lovely street full of stores where you can buy from local sweets to gifts for your family and friends. There's a great selection of knife stores and fake food stuff. Some of the stores offer tax free shopping usually you need to spend around 5400 yen to be able to apply for tax refunds, selectes shops in the street allow you to combine tickets from multiple stores to reach the tax free limit. A tax free office is located at the North end of the street
