  • There is no visitation to this site. The monastery of Mater Ecclesiae (Latin for the mother of the Church) is located within the Vatican City. It was founded in 1990 by Pope John Paul II as a cloistered monastery for nuns, and you can get some images of externally.

  • Located on mid-slope in the Vatican gardens, this peaceful villa is the residence of the Pope Emeritus. It is a beautiful set that we see from the outside.

  • I hope I can get invited one day.
  • We wanted to visit this place, but it appears it is located in semi private part of Vatican city and you need special permission to enter it. It was not clear where to get it from, as the workers around barely speak in English and cannot explain or even understand the question.
