The Porta San Paolo (San Paolo Gate) is one of the southern gates in the 3rd-century Aurelian Walls of Rome, Italy. The Via Ostiense Museum (museo della Via Ostiense) is housed within the gatehouse.

It is in the Ostiense quarter; just to the west is the Roman Pyramid of Cestius, an Egyptian-style pyramid, and beyond that is the Protestant Cemetery.

  • Its a historical place, when you talk about Rome, we talking around 2000 years of history or more. this place its really particularly for the history and the facts the it's next to the train station Ostiense, that take you to Ostia Lido to the beach..and around you have so many buses to go all around Rome, at the station you can buy tickets for a single ride, 24 hour ride a week, the same ticket can be use for the subway, metropolitana, too, enjoy have a great vacation
