  • This is Pentenzieri, on the street of Conciliazione, connected to St. Peter's Square. It is not a particularly building of the mud wall of the light brown color when seeing from the street, but when I enter the courtyard from the backside, I know that it is a large building considerably wide.

  • It is the biggest Church of the world. Amazing place. The church is very soothing and calm. A must visit place in Rome. The temperature will be a bit warm. "Be very careful with the pick pocket".
  • It is also known as Palazzo della Rovere because Cardinal Domenico della Rovere, in the fifteenth century, entrusted the construction to the architect Baccio Pontelli. The latter in the specific case drew inspiration from the prospectus of Palazzo Venezia organized around a large courtyard distributed on two levels, of which the superior is a hanging garden preceded to the east by a loggia. The interiors can boast a cycle of prestigious frescoes by Pinturicchio and his school. In this context shines the ceiling of the demigods that spread over 63 fomellas painted on paper and inserted in the wooden lacunars. The whole is a triumph of fantastic animals and mythological creatures borrowed from medieval bestiaries. From 1600 the palace is the seat of the Brotherhood of Penitentiary.
