  • From the front of the Church of San Michele to the Santa Trinita Bridge is Via Tornaboni, but the building on the east side along the street is The Strozzi Palace. There are large, medium and small Palazzo along Trnabuoni Street, but it's not as big as the Tornabuoni Palace on the north side of the Strozzi Palace buildings, but it's probably next. After Filippo Strozzi built it in 1489, it ended in 1538's asylum in the Strozzi family and confiscated into the Medici family, his political rival. However, although it was returned about 30 years later, the Strozzui family became a dead family in 1907. Art exhibitions are now held, libraries and several research institutes are in the building.

  • Palazzo Strozzi is one of those museum realities able to provoke very strong emotions to experts and simple curious, every detail is taken care of in detail and the visit is really pleasant; In addition to the important contemporary art exhibitions, there is also the great quality of the bookshop and the attached services (audioguides, etc.). A museum that has an international vision and that is one of the case studies to be followed carefully.

  • The Strozzi Palace is host to some superbly created exhibitions of artwork of global reputation and significance. The curation is excellent and quite often there are two separate exhibitions, one in the main upstairs hall and the other in the extensive basement. It's very central and the easily accessible on foot from pretty much anywhere in Florence.
  • So this was a very nice museum but the ticketing was not clear so we had the wrong combo tickets. We were a little mad and had a good reduction so ask things twice and more please!
