Immerse your senses in the sights, sounds, and tastes of Mercato Centrale. Pick up everything you need--meat, fish, cheese, olives, pasta, bread, and wine--to make a delicious Tuscan meal. Most vendors will let you try samples of their products. If you get hungry, grab a panini from a stall or sit down in one of the market's eateries. A local favorite is panino con bollito, a boiled beef sandwich where the bread is dipped in the cooking broth and topped with salsa. Wash it down with some fresh iced tea. O Mercato Centrale de Milano foi o local onde pudemos vivenciar a verdadeira essência italiana. Sua gastronomia, seus temperos, frutas diversas, vinhos, azeites, queijos... e o que não poderia faltar,... more »Mercato Centrale de Milano was the place where we could experience the true Italian essence. Its gastronomy, its seasonings, various fruits, wines, olive oils, cheeses... and what could not be lacking, the Spritz. The buzz and movement of the place gives a special charm. Really a pleasurable and enriching experience. Loved
Great place for food and drinks, from multiple restaurants. But its self serve, and the prices are comparable to nice restaurants outside but in here you eat in paper plates. I think it's a bit overrated. I would say if you plan to get a descent meal, there are loads of awesome cafes in and around
lots to eat, good vibe. You can buy selection of truffles, dry mushrooms and ham there. There are also food stalls where you can have steak, pasta, burgers. Some even come for breakfast as they also have nice coffee and pastries shops there. Need to pay for toilets on the ground floor (1 euro), but if you go upstairs the toilets are free.
