Uncover ancient ruins dating back to the 4th century BCE at Bet She'an National Park, home to the largest preserved Byzantine bathhouse in Israel. In its earliest days, the city was a central stop for trade caravans, developing into a sprawling Roman-Byzantine metropolis. Wander through the remains of ancient monuments, temples and columns, damaged by a 749 CE earthquake that marked the city's demise. Drop by the 7,000-seat Roman amphitheatre to see one of the best examples of its kind in the country. It is a historical site with remains located in Bet She'an, Israel. It is very spacious, and I recommend you allocate a good amount of time to explore. What I particularly liked is its size and a variety of things to see, including abandoned buildings, walls, and poles. It is interesting just to walk inside, which will make you feel the history of Israel. Recommended for anyone interested in the history of Israel.
One of the best preserved ancient Roman towns. Amazing. Super-hot though during warm season, make sure to wear a hat. The drinking water fountains are present here and there.
