This museum is simply amazing. Obviously a big part of this is its use of advanced technology and interface design, and the rewarding experience of learning how to use the interactive exhibits, but it also benefits from painting a very clear picture of Irish culture and influence around the world, and the trials faced by them throughout history. I went expecting to spend an hour or two, and when I finished I noticed four hours had gone by and I had missed lunch, but was touched by what I had seen and read. 10/10 would recommend!

Wow, definitely recommendable and from my point of view an absolute "must see" in Dublin. Beautiful location in the basement of an old warehouse at the docks of river Liffey, very engaging exhibition and even though it uses very modern and multimedia means it is still very touching emotionally and tangible. Learn a lot about Irish culture, history and what emigration means in broader sense and the negative and positive aspects it has when somebody chooses or is obliged to change the country of residence. Perfect from A-Z
