Come face-to-face with orangutans in their natural environment at Camp Leakey. Established in 1971 and named after paleo-anthropologist Louis Leakey, the park is a leading research and conservation center for endangered primates. Keep an eye on the ground: Borneo orangutans often walk on all fours, whereas their Sumatran counterparts prefer to hang out in trees. Guests can visit the park during the day with a guide, but are not allowed to stay overnight. Make sure you have the proper permits before entering. Nice places to Visit , Orang Utan Conservation
Great place to see orang utan. We met 2 orang utan holding hands that acts like arguing parents on the way yo thr feeding location. There were also hogs, other types of mongkeys, giant ants, and other probably normal rain forest creatures. Great place, nice view on the way to the camp.
