  Easy snorkeling straight off the beach to the Japanese Shipwreck. Shallow water, so can see plenty, don’t need to scuba to see plenty of fishes and corals  more »

  Wir sind mit dem Moped ca. 15 Minuten zu dem Shipwreck Point gefahren. Dort angekommen soll man ein Ticket kaufen um zu dem Abschnitt des Strandes zu kommen. Wir haben das ganz unverschämt ignoriert u...  more »

  We rode our moped to Shipwreck Point for about 15 minutes. Once there you should buy a ticket to get to the section of the beach. We ignored it outrageously and still went down to the beach. There should probably be another beach section where you can go into the water - without a ticket. As already described here several times, the entry into the water is recommended due to the stones only with suitable shoes. In addition, you should already look at the shallow water with the diver glasses, because the corals here already start quite far in front. To protect them, it is recommended here not to just trample over it, but to be careful when getting started. Then you can swim comfortably over the coral sway to the wreck. It is really very nice to observe the underwater world that originated there and you forget the time. Yesterday's dive at the wreck of the USA Liberty, of course, does not get that. For snorkeling and for the first dives, however, this wreck / boat is absolutely recommended.
