  • I visited national Park with my family, but I don't, I didn't feel so interesting, there is no map in zoo, so that we can easily go. And I can say it's below average.  more »

  • One of the best wild life park in India. Situated on the outskirts of the city of Bangalore, it is well connected by adequate transport facilities(in the form of city buses and cabs) from various locations in Bangalore. The park is one of the pioneers in creating and maintaining the safari to see the majestic predators and other animals. White tigers are of great attraction here. Safari areas are divided into parts, like tiger safari, lion safari etc. Apart from tigers and lions, one can see black bears, elephants, deer, Zebras. The entire place is well maintained and well protected from wild animals. Once you finish safari, do visit Butterfly park where you can see different species of butterflies in big number(especially in the season of Mansoon), the dense vegetation planted to attract butterflies is really good, and is well maintained.
  • This place is well maintained. I went here on Saturday and so it was a bit crowded but if you reach here by 10 then also you will be able go through Jungle Safari easily. After that it takes a lot of time because of the crowd. You can spend here a quality time with your friends and family. The experience is worth it. I was able to see White tiger, asiatic lion, black bear during the Jungle Safari.
  • The is a very good place to spend a day close to the nature. The park is very clean and the animals are also very easy to spot unlike other places. Kids will enjoy a lot, there are many wild animals, wide variety of birds, crocs, Indian python. One more attraction is the safari for half an hour. Zoo entrance and safari ticket will be 260 bucks. We can board a small bus for the safari. Please keep the ticket safe as its very very important to board the bus. Unfortunately I lost the ticket and I could not go to safari. But in safari I read your can see tiger , cheetah and wild boar. There are couple of places where you can buy chips, cool drinks and other snacks. Over all it's a nice experience in the national park. Please visit and have fun. Carry hard and shades. Stroller is very hard to roam around the park. There are no smooth roads and it will be very difficult to take it along with you.
  • Worth visiting. Timings are from 9am to 5pm. It is always better to opt for the safari and zoo combo ticket and go for the safari first. The earlier the better as the animals are out when its cooler. Even if you go later that ensure that animals can be seen. For example the elephants are chained along the route to ensure visitors get their money's worth. Old lions and limping tigers are let out of their cages. Even if the animal is evidently stressed by the tour bus noise and the people inside hooting and cackling at the animals the tour bus drives by recklessly at breakneck speeds. The zoo is well maintained. Although the staff try and keep the premises clean their are those vistors who lack basic etiquette and cleanliness. It would be nice if the zoo authority had a route map at regular spots to follow some sort of order rather than shuttling between cages of birds, beasts and reptiles. Overall a worthwhile experience.
  • Never miss this place if you're in Bangalore. Avoid weekends since the crowd is too much. Make sure that you visit the safari as soon as you enter the Zoo since the queue becomes so big as time passes that people have to wait for nearly 2 hours for their turn. Make sure you're well energized when you go. Have fun!
