  • I was a very nervous diver, but Phil, Helen and the team lead me through my training and subsequent dives of a period of time so that now, I am completely confident. They are a very professional outfit in one of the most stunning locations in the world. I always know the dives are going to be safe, well staffed and enjoyable. Highly recommended.!
  • I cannot think of a better place to learn to scuba dive than Dive Grenada. My girlfriend and I did the PADI Open Water Course with one of the owners, Helen, over 2.5 days, and the experience could not have been better. Helen was a brilliant teacher, very patient, informative and, most importantly, she made the whole experience (including the technical training in the pool) really fun. We were in the ocean doing a proper dive on day 1, which was really exciting and broke up the pool training nicely, and by the end of it (having been a bit nervous beforehand!) we felt very relaxed and comfortable. The whole process is well managed: Dive Grenada has access to a 14ft pool at the nearby Mount Cinnamon Resort (where we stayed, and is also great), which is perfect for the initial training. They have all the kit you could possibly need to hire for your dives, and offer a wide range of services at reasonable prices; Phil (the other owner) and Helen are really helpful with any questions and helping out with equipment. The trips to the dive sites are very easy - they are all a short distance away and you get onto the boat directly from the beach outside the dive shop. The location is also amazing, on Grand Anse Beach with fantastic views and various beach bars nearby (despite which, the beach never feels too busy or loud). Helen is a brilliant guide/dive master, and showed us a fantastic array of marine wildlife on our four dives with her, and she has some very helpful books to identify what we saw afterwards. The other diver masters also did a fantastic job. The highlights were seeing our first wreck (The Veronica L), and the underwater sculpture park, but the wildlife generally is fantastic. We cannot recommend Dive Grenada highly enough, and would urge anyone who is thinking of learning to scuba dive to learn there, and anyone who already knows they like scuba diving to go there. We are already planning to go back!
