The creative heart of Naxos, Fish & Olive is a gallery displaying handmade ceramic artworks and jewelry by artists Katharina Bolesch and Alexander Reichardt. In addition to pieces by Bolesch and Reichardt, the gallery also showcases paintings, etchings, lithographs, and other art objects by many local and international artists. The adjecent shop sells ceramic pieces and jewelry by the two resident artists, who have exhibited their works in New York, Tokyo, Athens, and Helsinki. Other items you can pick up there include local extra virgin olive oil, as well as cotton T-shirts and kitchen aprons featuring the gallery's recognizable design and motifs.   I was magically attracted by 2 beautiful wall lamps, which I saw enjoying a super tasty iced coffee in the café opposite. High-quality ceramics, excellently crafted silver jewellery, all in the Fish & Olive theme, and the very smart, cosmopolitan operator made the visit a pure pleasure. A "sniffing" is definitely worthwhile and if the owner has time and desire you will be rewarded with interesting details from his eventful life....
