The Deutsche Musum in Munich is one of the best technical museums in the world. If you are interested in technology or science in any way, you will find something interesting here. I have looked at this museum every weekend for half a year, and I really have seen it all over the place. If you only have one day, you should choose a maximum of 2-3 departments that you want to look at. The whole museum cannot be seen under 8-10 days. Particularly recommended, especially with children: the high-current electrics with their artificial flashes. The traffic technology has been outsourced and is now next to the Wiesn, but the rest is also fantastic. Attention: Technically uninterested one should not be necessary to go to this museum. Munich has something to offer for all tastes. Technically interested children are here in paradise. In one afternoon, the physics department can playfully experience the physics lessons of an entire school year, and with fun. What you shouldn't expect: criticism of technology. The Deutsches Museum presents technology, but does not evaluate it. That's a concept in this museum, and I think it's a good thing.

It takes at least 3 hours to discover the whole exhibition. Of course, if you want an explanation in French, go your way.
Awesome exhibits and truly huge museum. Have gone 3 times already and still haven't seen the whole thing. Some sections are currently under renovation, but what was open was very educational and entertaining for all ages. The live demonstrations and tours are worth your time.
Old but gold. Especially suits technology-savvy visitors. I would only recommend to visit with a guide, since it’s too big and the background stories make the things there way more interesting.
