  • I went there without a priori, so surprised by the ingenuity, the beauty, the interaction between the public and the projections. Great moment of emotion... almost in tears in front of the procession, as an exodus, iridescent and translucent which glided on the walls. These characters who greet us when you touch them... we have been long at all try this expo is a powerful experience... to me :-)

  • The big slaughterhouse and meat market was shut down a long time ago and the land has been re-used as a big park with all sorts of features. Not particularly pretty, but if your event or show is held ...  more »

  • Visited this park in June 2018. Last visit was over 20 years ago. The park is certainly well maintained and a wonderful place for a family’s day out! Follies, red structures spread out in the park looks great with diverse activities and services available from my last visit. A must place if u are in Paris. You can also see Paris Philharmonic at the Park too!
  • Great place for kids. Lots of fun and educational activities. It does get quite crowded during weekends which is a little hard on the kids as they need to wait for many activities. It is also quite run down. Food options are the usual fast foods but it is really not a great experience mainly due to run down surroundings.
  • Lovely park in the north east extremity of Paris, set on the Saint Martin canal. It has a futuristic suspended "highway" for runners and many activities for children, including a carousel. There is also a huge concert and happenings venue where butchers used to tend to their trade. The hall is a very delicate example of Art Nouveau.
  • La Villette is a great park to enjoy all year. You can have picnic and children can play with many playground and gardens. It is a very big place to explore. There are plenty of activities and events all year round. Highly recommended.
  • Really great place! More than a park! Concerts year round. Dancing performances and classes, films, music museum that's incredible and then many playgrounds for various ages. There's a Geode and a river that goes right down the middle. There's a children's museum and much much more!!!
