Tour the medieval Dominican Monastery Claustrum to see dormitories, living quarters, and a library where generations of monks spent their lives through the centuries. Stroll along hallways where your voice echoes in the darkness and eerie Gothic statues hide in corners, then visit the large chapel with its crumbling brick walls. In the cellar of the complex lies a mysterious pillar: legend says it possesses forces that elevate you to a higher spiritual state and bring good health to those who come near it. If you're interested, the staff can organize thematic tours and programs at the site, which involve storytelling, costumes, and lit torches throughout the monastery's medieval walls. Dominican Monastery Claustrum Reviews
Долгое время не удавалось попасть во внутренний дворик монастыря. Пытались и с улицы Мюйривяхе, Вене, Катарины... Видели дворик из окна собора св. Петра и Павла, но как в басне о лисе и винограде. Пос... more »For a long time it was not possible to get into the patio of the monastery. We tried from the streets of Myurivahe, Vienna, Katarina... We saw the courtyard from the window of st. Peter and Paul, but as in the fable of fox and grapes. The last attempt was successful. I tell you: in the Catholic cathedral at the entrance sits a lady and for 2 euros opens the door to the monastery yard. Recently visited the eternal city, where there are buildings BC, so the monastery of the 13th century looks like a new business, but still the impression of history, antiquity, centuries-received. In the well of Desires money was not thrown, decided not to tempt fate, and half an hour before they voiced their desires on the stairs of Desires in the house of Mauritius. The energy post is the subject of the following searches, it is somewhere in the basements. All successful discoveries!!!
Fint sted som var litt vanskelig å finne. Nesten litt hemmelig. Men det var rolig og fint her. Anbefales. more »
Very beautiful place with ancient style and architecture. €3 to enter. Very beautiful inside. About a 10 minute tour to see everything inside. The chambers are very nice. Loved it here. The lady at the front desk explains the history when you pay for the tour and she is very detailed about everything and answers any questions.
St. Catherina's monastery is one of the remaining internal parts have been built in 1246 .... Thought to be a source of mental and physical health "columns" should be seen.
