  The cave is easily accessible from the city centre via a newly created path and within about 20 minutes. It is not large and rather unspectacular overall. Comprehensive explanations are available, so that "everything is taken out of the cave" which is possible. The staff at the entrance is very friendly and helpful. Admission costs 2€ per person. It is currently open (low season) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  Walked from Vela Luka town to the cave, steep but fairly easy climb, well sign posted. The cave is small but very interesting with information boards.  more »

  Nice cave. The history is very interesting but you don't see much of it when visiting the place. The walking path to the cave from the city is beautiful with great view of the city and the bay. Paved concrete path with a some stairs, easy to walk even though it's going uphill.

  For me it was a very special experience. The history of such an old cave is hard to grasp and it was very beautiful, had a special, almost eerie vibe to it. Maybe because of how the light came through it or the fact that it is so very old and have such a long history. The dude who sold us the tickets really made our day. Such a kind and inretesting guy. 🙌
