  • We were at the lakes in late April, after a period of intense rains, so the waterfalls were particularly spectacular. There are always many people and at the entrance they enter 200 people every hour. If the number has already been reached you can go to the other entrance and try there, or wait. There is however the possibility to book the visit online at least two days before, thus having the guarantee to enter then chosen. The path to all said most beautiful is the "C" that starts from the entrance 1. The duration is 5/6 hours but it is worthwhile, and it is feasible by anyone, even untrained. The refreshment points are not many.

  • Spring time was awesome as many waterfalls were pouring from one lake to another. Summer time was also good for walking around, but it was a bit more crowded. I enjoyed spending couple of hours getting to the top of course E. If you plan to visit Croatia, don't miss the opportunity to check it out.
  • Amazingly beautiful landscape, part of the UNESCO heritage. It is a must see in Croatia and one of the most impressive site in Europe. Visitors can tour around waterfalls and different lakes. In some parts you can find picnic tables and facilities. There are also a few cafes on the top of the site. There's also a possibility to walk in the forest and observe the lakes and waterfalls from up. Family friendly
