Dating back to 1913, features the ruins of one of the most modern and largest fortifications in the region from World War II. Today it displays weapons, soldiers' chambers, and memorabilia. This garrison was highly sophisticated for its time, armed with 400-500 men and two guns, which shot 471 kg (1,038 lb) shells up to 42 km (26 mi). Visit the memorial complex at the site to see the hospital rooms where wounded soldiers were treated, dark humid bedrooms, and war tunnels, all covered in broken concrete pieces and deformed metal.
