Karadag Natural Reserve combines sea, subtropical forests, and a plethora of animal species. Sitting on an ancient volcano, the reserve stretches across 2,874 hectares (7,102 acres). Once submerged under water, today the site conceals precious stones and serves as home to about 1,176 plant species and 5,500 types of animals. Paths cut through otherworldly geological formations shaped by wind, water, and sun over millions of years. Find the hidden grottos and climb to overlooks facing the bays. You can take a guided tour of the site, either by land or sea, and visit the nature museum and a dolphinarium.   • One moment - you should be tough enough to go for an excursion to that reserve, especially in summer, when the temperature in rocks is about 40C. But you'll be rewarded by fantastic views.  more »
  • Took the boat tour through the Golden gate. Highly recommend it. Tour was funny and informative. Got to jump off the ship and swim in front of the gate.
