Vorontsov Palace and Park complex, Alupka

4.8
Once the home of a wealthy Russian prince, Vorontsov Palace and Park complex remains one of Crimea's most popular landmarks and features a mix of architectural influences. Visit the palace, located at the foot of a mountain range near the sea, and you'll immediately notice the huge variation in design throughout. Stroll around the building and take in the facades, which feature construction reminiscent of Indian palaces, medieval castles, and English country estates. Tour the interior and explore its 150 rooms replete with ornate wooden furniture, paintings, expansive book collections, and decorative furnishings. Afterwards, walk the grounds and see the gardens surrounding the building. • Both the palace and the park with it, and the view of Ai-Petri are really impressive, Vorontsovsky is rightly considered a top attraction and is not in vain considered a must to visit. There are no other tours and guides, everything is fine, but there is no perfect thing in the world, so I will express negative factors. First of all, it is necessary to be prepared for the fact that the mass flow of people in Crimea does not go anywhere at all, and in particular in Vorontsovsky in some rooms one group can be cramped, and if another to meet goes, then especially irritable can strain even more and strain others. I don't remember if there's a limit on the number of people in the group... It may be that in the group there are very small children or children who are frankly uninteresting, and this too can play a role, and in general I liked everything

  • This is the most well-groomed and beautiful place in Alupka. It's definitely worth a look. The park is very beautiful and very large. You can walk all day. It is amazing that there is such a park in Alupka. The palace is also striking in its beauty. Unfortunately, they weren't inside. They didn't take any chances with the one-year-old. Electric cars drive around the territory. You can take a tour. It's beautiful.

  • Cool piece of history, another palace on the Crimean peninsula. Crowded with tourists, beach located next to the palace if you want to to swim on the summer hot day. Parking is very limited unfortunately, twisty little roads. Enjoy sight seeing
  • beautiful castle. very well preserved. made of durable stone, it helps to preserve it in its original form. survived the second world war. interesting garden. you can walk for a long time. it is generally better to go in the morning. until the main halls are open. The territory opens very early. and while there are no tourists to walk in the park and courtyards of the castle. the tour of the castle is interesting, but if there is a lot of people, it becomes crowded and difficult to either see or take a photo.
