  • Had a fantastic time here. Went here twice during my stay in Raro. First time was at night, same night there was a lovely buffet dinner/ dessert, free drink and free round of golf. The course is great with some good photo ops. The live band was really good too! Staff were very friendly!
  • A must do for anyone visiting Rarotonga. Coconut is a fun activity for all ages. Good fun in the sun.

  • We've just come back from another holiday in Raro and have only just discovered the Ale House/Cocoputt. We had a fantastic Sunday evening here. Cocktails great, buffet was amazing and the band topped off the night. We were in awe of the lead guitarist what an amazing musician. Took the owner is a character and very handy on the harmonica. We've already recommended the Ale House Sunday night to friends going to Raro today. Make sure you book a table.

Where to stay in Rarotonga

Since pristine white beaches and turquoise lagoons are never far away in Rarotonga, where you stay depends entirely on how much you want to spend. The hotels and resorts tend to cluster around the most scenic beaches and lagoons. At the higher end, luxury resorts offer pampering comfort, but often share their beaches with much more affordable accommodations. If you want to explore a certain part of the island, look for lodgings nearby: although the buses are extremely convenient, they tend to meander at a very slow pace.
