Explore the wetlands, rock ridges, and abundant wildlife of Killbear Provincial Park, where the fluctuating water levels of the Great Lakes have created a varied range of shoreline ecosystems. Follow the hiking trails for spectacular views and chances to spot deer, foxes, snakes, and maybe even a bear along the way. Wandering off the trail requires some caution, but the campground guides will be happy to help you out. • Beautiful provincial park with a very diversified environnement. Each trail felt different from the others, with changing flora and fauna depending on the trail.  more »
  • We stayed at a near by resort Katawoda and visited Killbear on a few day trips. My daughter loved the beach. We packed picnics, swam and hiked. Its beautiful! Well worth the trip.  more »

  • We had a really amazing 4 days here. All the sites are spacious some bigger then others. We had electrical hook up in beaver dams with a 3 min walk to the bathroom and beach. The park is well maintained and clean and the bathrooms are as well. The trails are amazing and really fun and sunsets are gorgeous!
  • Monday brought back wonderful memories, this being our fourth visit to Killbear in thirty years. Albeit our most comfortable visit. Past visits have included tents, children, pets. This year we've graduated to a mobile home and our children have brought their own and overtook a camp site near to us with a much larger tent then we ever owned. We are next the the lake and both have the luxury of hydro on site. Washrooms are a stone's throw an fresh water is almost as close. The weather is cooperating and the camps guests are not rowdy, much different than what we remember from our twenties. All in all a good choice for families to enjoy summer while it's here.
