Killbear Provincial Park Reviews
Wow, really lovely park with spectacular scenery. I have some mobility issues, but was able to get on a trail or two. We were in Kilcoursie which is geared for larger trailers. Beautiful beach there. ... more »
Killbear continues to be one of our favourite camping destinations. The sites are great, the beaches are incredible, the trails are excellent...we have an amazing time every single time we go! more »
We had a really amazing 4 days here. All the sites are spacious some bigger then others. We had electrical hook up in beaver dams with a 3 min walk to the bathroom and beach. The park is well maintained and clean and the bathrooms are as well. The trails are amazing and really fun and sunsets are gorgeous!
Monday brought back wonderful memories, this being our fourth visit to Killbear in thirty years. Albeit our most comfortable visit. Past visits have included tents, children, pets. This year we've graduated to a mobile home and our children have brought their own and overtook a camp site near to us with a much larger tent then we ever owned. We are next the the lake and both have the luxury of hydro on site. Washrooms are a stone's throw an fresh water is almost as close. The weather is cooperating and the camps guests are not rowdy, much different than what we remember from our twenties. All in all a good choice for families to enjoy summer while it's here.
