  • The park with the hard to pronounce name is on the same peninsula as Sandbanks and can be just as busy. The beach isn't as nice but it has other offerings such as a few hiking trails, one paved so easy to bike and scooter to a small lighthouse at the end, a marsh boardwalk, and you'll spot and get to tag and release Monarch butterflies. The staff are great and will take the time to explain the local flora and fauna. There are sites which are radio free but as usual, some campers do not follow rules and cause excessive noise. The washrooms are decently clean. We found the beach filled with algae at the end of August bur maybe its better mid summer.
  • Great park. Well maintained. Fairly quiet. Not overcrowded. A lot of things to do. Great kids programs. Great bike trails. There is even church service on Sundays.
