  • If you come to Brunei for a day, you should also make a detour to this water settlement. With a little negotiation you can book a small tour there for 15 BND. This is usually executed by one of the locals. Our "guide" showed us the most important houses and at the end we left for half an hour at the museum. There, the history of the people was beautifully depicted.

  • I visited a very old and big house in the water village. Since I participated in the tour, I was able to explain the local life in detail and it will be a study. The water passages and houses are more stable and spacious than you might think. It's almost never shaky. Every house had an address and a mailbox. Sewage seems to be in place, too. The width of the passage way was able to afford to walk side by side by two adults, but I was afraid to step out of it and walked in a row vertically. I think that shoes and shoes which are accustomed to wearing shoes are good with the sandals refrained. There are mosques, police, fire stations and schools in the village, and students are slightly exempted from school when they go to school by boat. The tea and sweets I received at the place of visit were very delicious with a low sweetness. The house was cool, so I was able to see it comfortably.
