  • You have to go there to fully understand the struggle and scars of Bosnian people from the war. The museum is dedicated to the worst massacre and ethnic cleansing since WWII. It's harsh truths and dep...  more »
  • The infinite pain that unites us all, those who watch this exhibition. We cry tears, we break our stomachs, we feel disintegrating inside. Will Europe one day find a way to admit that it was jointly responsible for this immense massacre? To have been, in one way or another, also the shadowy principal?

  • Heartbreaking, intense yet beautiful. The gallery is small but it showcases a good mix of art and information about the genocide in Srebrenica, allowing the visitors to learn about the history in different angles. Even though the gallery is small, you can easily spend a day there depending how much you want to take in. My ticket last for two days, and I would have went back the next day if I didn’t have a flight to catch because there is just so much to digest. Highly recommend to get the audio guide since it explains a lot about the photos displayed in the gallery. The computer contains a lot of a information and small details of the whole event, while the short film is just impressive - you can really see how emotionally this genocide affect the people. I would suggest everyone to pay a visit.
  • These are people whose memories we should honour... We failed them in their hour of greatest need. 'All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.' Edmund Burke. Well presented and accessible. We must remember them.
