Learn about the discovery of chocolate and then get to taste it in its finished product at Museum of Cocoa and Chocolate (Musee du Cacao et du Chocolat). The museum was formed by Gabrielle Draps, who comes from a long lineage of chocolate artisans and is also the wife of Godiva Chocolatier's founder. As you go through the museum, you will learn about the early Mayans and their discovery of chocolate. Next you will discover the processes that cocoa goes through to become chocolate. Then you can go through the exhibits of chocolate figurines. Finish off with the highly recommended demonstration of how pralines are made.
