European Parliament (Hemicycle visits), Brussels

3.7
See the seat of European Union decision-making at European Parliament (Hemicycle visits), where you can view the parliament in session. Reserve an audio tour that leads you through the chamber and public rooms as you gather information about the day-to-day activities of the parliament. Along the way you'll see European delegates, lawyers, and government officials shuffling between offices and chambers. You are allowed to take a picture in front of the flags, but nowhere else in the building, so save your camera battery for the end of the tour. Admission is free and the tour is short, so consider including a visit to the nearby planetarium while you are in the area. • It’s a really nice experience to visit the parliament, specially if you’re European. The place is busy and full of life and you have a lot of different languages to chose from. You get a chance to see how regulations are approved or rejected and a lot of other political processes. It can get busy so get ready to wait in line! There’s also a small museum with some paintings worth seeing. It’s nice seeing how your country is being represented and the role it plays!
  • Not as interesting as it could seem from outside or for a first time visitor. On the other side, the tour guide from Uk-Poland was so kind, as he accepted being for more than half an hour answering our questions. So kind!! Many thanks!
