  • The building is impressive. Massive carvings. I knew nothing about the history so for me having a tour guide was useful. There city of Bruges has great shops. I went to Mary's for chocolate and absolutely worth it. Wish I'd gotten more.
  • This is one of the most beautiful churches in Bruges! Aside from having a beautiful interior, you can also take pictures from a bridge behind the church which gives a great view! It's free to go inside, but part of it is kept as a museum which has an entrance fee. It's also on the way to a lot of attractions from the train station, so you can't miss it.
