  • Beautiful pieces, crowns, swords, the cradle of the Aiglon, a Horn of nerval, less interesting religious things

  • Once you get used to the darkness, it's a sight to see!!! One must not be deterred from this by the constantly prevailing tumult in the square!!! However, a fair weather visit is also recommended!!!!

  • Important Museum housing some of the Holy Roman Empire, Napoleon, and Austrian relics and royal crowns. A must see. Plan to spend an hour walking through the museum. Purchase a combined ticket to also get you into the art gallery. They do not have to be used the same day. It is amazing to see the artifact involved in the history of shaping Europe up close and personal.
  • The museum is very well organised and can be easily visited in one hour. If you are going to Spanish Riding school in the morning, I would recommend visiting the imperial treasury first (it is quite close by and there are no queues at 9 am.
