View the renowned Mozart Denkmal statue, created in 1896 by Austrian sculptor Victor Tilgner, at Burggarten. This palace garden with its informal English layout opened to the public in 1918 with the fall of the Habsburg Empire. It features numerous monuments, including a fountain with a statue of Hercules fighting a lion, and a statue of Emperor Franz-Joseph I and Empress Franz I. Don't miss the butterfly garden within the larger garden, or the small zoo on the grounds. • This is a perfect place to relax with a drink and admire a grea5 statue of Mozart. It can be busy but that just means you get to people watch too!  more »
  • The Mozart sculpture is beautiful with many others. The garden can be a little crowded though, but worth a visit for its amazing coffee at the palm house and of course for the casual strolls  more »

  • It was a lovely visit over there on an evening. One of those Lovely maintained parks to spend your morning or evening time with friends .
  • The young Viennese love going to this park for a drink and weed on spring and summer days. Also lots of annoying tourists walking around. The park has a public toilet, but beware they the damn machine to get in only takes 50 cent coins.
