Experience a new way to climb a mountain with Hungerburg Funicular. Board a spacious gondola to travel through a tunnel and over a bridge across the Inn River. Reach the Hungerburg at 860 m (2,821 ft) above sea level. Architect Zaha Hadid designed all four stations on this line, which opened on December 1, 2007. Pay special attention to the Hungerburg station, which from afar resembles an amorphous ice formation glittering in the sun. The funicular's complex route sets technical standards. So if you want to stop to visit the alpen zoo (about 730 meters) or the most impressive station designed by Zaha Hadid you will have to make the ticket costing 9.90 euros r/r while if you want to climb to the top of Mount Hafelekar at 2275 meters. a/r ticket will cost the beauty of 38 euros. To get to the top of the funicular (there are only 4 stations) you continue with two different cable cars that depart every 15 minutes. Once at the top the view is unparalleled but go there a minimum dressed. In short pleasant experience but at a really exaggerated price!

There are different tickets, we buy the one that includes the zoo. A must-have!
