Fighter World is an Australian aviation museum. Its purpose is to preserve the history of fighter operations of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and it has a large collection of aircraft, most of which are fighters once operated by the RAAF. It is located at RAAF Base Williamtown near Newcastle, New South Wales.

  • Stopped in and had a look. We had a great time. While not huge it was still very entertaining. The viewing deck to watch the jets land was outstanding.  more »
  • Wonderful Museum. Beautifully restored aircraft used by the RAAF and some others included. The guides and volunteers there are very knowledgeable and courteous. Cannot recommend highly enough
  • Awesome displays of fighter jets. With 2 cockpits you can sit in for a photo opportunity. Lots of displays of engine and weapons. A huge collection of hand made model planes. Nice observation deck to see the Airforce runway with the occasional spotting of fighter jets in action. Awesome
