Pretty average art gallery- the more interesting exhibit items were upstairs, particularly old journals on display. For free entry, it was worth a visit on the way through, but I wouldn't go out of...

Phenomenal small gallery! There is a very good mix of art for sale mixed with very good NFS display pieces and art by locals. Displays probably change regularly, but for December 2018, the works presented where the highlight of a visit to Townsville. The displays are impeccably arranged and lit. This makes a really big difference in appreciating the detail and style of the painting and objects shown. Art for sale had prices that seemed very reasonable for the quality of the work.
Current exhibition is good. Bottom area is interactive for kids. This may change as exhibits do though. The art work up stairs was interesting. Different pieces and stiles to admire. I will return once they is a new viewing.
