Clovelly Beach, Sydney

#4 of 29 in Beaches in Sydney
Beach · Nature / Park
Head to the beach at Clovelly Beach to avoid the crowds on other stretches of sand around Sydney. Locals adore this beach, which sits on the point of a concrete-surrounded inlet, for its calm, clear water full of comfortable and lack of other visitors. Bring your snorkel to check out the underwater action and lay out in the clean sand or along the smooth concrete if you prefer sand-free lounging. You'll encounter the beach along the coastal cliff walk between Bondi Beach and Bronte. You cannot scuba dive here during the day between October and April. • This place is 5 out of 5 free parking too. Had such a great time snorkelling here. Plenty to see and do.
  • I love this beach. It's basically a concrete inlet so its a very safe place to swim and snorkel. I've seen lots of fish and crabs.
