Chinatown, Sydney

Sydney's Chinatown is the oldest and largest Chinatown in Australia. Some top-tier Chinese chefs moved to Sydney in the 1990s, making this district world-famous for its Asian cuisine. There are Asian shops and open-air markets selling everything from traditional Chinese medicinal herbs to jewelry, meat, fish, flowers, vegetables, books, electronics, and inexpensive souvenirs. Several movie theaters offer daily screenings of documentary and feature films produced in Asia. Asian art galleries, restaurants, karaoke bars, shopping malls, and small boutiques attract visitors from around the world. While you can visit the area on your own, there is so much to see here, many tourists opt to join an official tour. • Compared to other Chinese cities in Australia, the most important here is that i have a store sign in China, whether it's the store sign, or the food, is Chinese food, you can pay for it or WeChat, and people can live here without English.

  • The core area is not surprisingly large, and the Chinese element has already mixed from the surrounding area. It is a scare. It's interesting to see if Chinatown is not a separate disorganized space, but whether Chinese culture is blending into the streets of Sydney.
