  • We were here for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra performance. It was a really beautiful evening in a nice location, topped off by fantastic music from the orchestra. This venue has lovely sloping contours to allow views of the stage from afar. We had a really wonderful night here. If you are driving in, we parked along Alexandra Road and walked to the venue, about 500m only.
  • Large, outdoor arena with partially covered seating. Hosts all sorts of performances throughout the year, from Flume and MSO summer concert series to Carol's by Candlelight on Christmas Eve. Lots of room on the grass for a picnic blanket or standing room, and bathrooms underneath the back of the hill are well kept and large enough for all but the biggest and messiest concerts? Most recently I saw Rufus on Valentines Day 2019. There was plenty of room whether you wanted to sit or stand, and the sound system showed of the impressive live performance. I always look forward to seeing a show at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, it's one of Melbourne's best live venues
