King's Domain's hidden treasure is officially known as the Pioneer Women's Memorial Garden. It's more notable for being a return to the symetrical gardens of England's Elizabethan era. The garden..... more »
Beautiful gardens and parkland with important historic and cultural monuments. A wonderful place to bring the kids or go for a jog on the good quality paths. There are public toilets and drink fountains. The paths are mostly well lit at night. The street parking is paid but there are many public transport options here. A real jewel in Melbourne's crown.
This is a very well kept park area and thoroughfare. There are many trees to marvel at and walking through the well paved paths is pleasing to the sense. There is a bit of elevation near some of the exits but it's very gradual. The Botanic gardens are not far from the guided paths also, so you could really make a day of it checking this park out. There are many grass areas with plenty of trees for shade, providing great date spots, picnics for gatherings and can accommodate other social functions with ease. Regardless of the weather, you will be floored strolling through this beautiful park.
