City Park is a heritage park containing the city's botanic gardens, radio museum, gallery of wood design and furniture, and an enclosed colony of macaque monkeys. The park's monorail operates on most days and is a popular tourist attraction, taking visitors around the area's most notable landmarks. The most prominent buildings at this location are Albert Hall, which was built in 1891; a convention center; and the studios of City Park Radio. The studios are located inside a cottage that once served as the park caretakers' home, and still boast one of the oldest wisteria wines in Australia, planted in 1837. A beautiful and peaceful spot to just sit and relax. Well kept gardens and grounds with monkeys to watch. Take some time out of your day to sit under a shady tree and take in the beauty - just great to sit and watch the world go by!

Great Park to sit read and relax in. Or watch the Japanese monkeys. They are very entertaining. There's a Cafe that serves very nice coffee, cake and lunch.
