  I went to Katoomba on the train using my Opal card. The train ride was only $6.86 which is very reasonable and the scenery was lovely. The ticket office for the Explorer bus is just outside the statio...  more »

  Honestly, if you don’t have your own car to drive around, this is the best option. It is a little pricey, but just the bus pass is worth it to get yourself around to the starts of all the trails! The bus drivers I encountered were super nice and informational – they really knew their stuff about what we were passing!

  A godsend for tired legs. Great route and drop off points that were well worthwhile over two days. Not nearly enough information on the global importance of the site and limited information on the natural and Indigenous heritage values. Tourism in the future will depend on this recognition and government investment must recognise global pressure. All enterprises play a part!
